Demands a High Level Enquiry from Director General of Police
Port Blair, July 13: The General Secretary, Andaman Mopla Service Organisation (AMSO), Shri Abdul Siddique had demanded a high level enquiry over the incident of communal violence that was reported in Diglipur on 12th July 2022.
In a letter to the Director General of Police, the AMSO Secretary mentioned, “We the people of these Islands, have been proud of our rich cultural diversity and unity of our beautiful peaceful islands. Precisely, called the Mini India, the UT of Andaman & Nicobar Islands is renowned nationwide for its multi-lingual and multi-cultural identity.

Port Blair, July 13: Under the leadership of Shri Ajoy Bairagi, State President, BJP, the Prashikshan team of A&N Bharatiya Janata Party lead by Shri Anil Tiwari, State Secretary and State Incharge Prashikshan along with its team members Smti Saraswati Narayan, Shri Maheshwar Lall and Shri N. Selwa Kumar conducted a three day long Prashikshan for all State, District, Morcha office bearers, Councillors and PRI Members.

Port Blair, July 13: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,84,239 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,596 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 24,713 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 28,405.
